Here is our recent custom vector pattern design project featuring magical fairies of all shapes and sizes created as a collaboration of Oksancia and our talented art team member Svitlana Gryb exclusively for Cari Slings babywearing wraps brand. They created a few colorways of woven fabric and babywearing products using this vector repeat pattern manufactured in the United States. I just love how it turned out! 🙂

Video: Can I sell raster versions of vector repeat pattern designs? My experiment.

So, can you sell your raster versions of your vector repeat pattern design? Yes, you can sell BOTH vector and raster files online. If you have vector repeat pattern designs and want to sell raster versions saved from your vectors, you can do so but my experiment conducted over 11 years showed that raster images sold 10x less then their vector versions on microstock websites. This is also a reason why I am a vector repeat pattern designer 😉 If you created raster designs only in Photoshop or another raster software, you can sell them on microstock websites as separate raster images or in sets, or on POD websites as physical products. You can also use them to design and sell digital products such as wedding invitations, restaurant menus, etc., and sell them as well.

In this video, I talk about if you can sell one and the same repeat pattern design or other digital artwork online on multiple websites. I also discuss my own 11+ years of experience selling my vector repeat pattern designs on multiple websites as well as being an exclusive designer on one website for a few years before I switched back to multiple microstock and print-on-demand websites.
I also speak about the difference between an exclusive license and a non-exclusive license in licensing digital art and designs online.
