Creative Tip: How to get better as a designer over time by becoming a tiny bit better every day.
In this video, I talk about an amazing tip for the creative life and for life in general about compounding your improvement and growth as a designer or a person in any area of your life by improving a little bit every day.
If you are interested in learning how to get better as a designer over time by becoming a tiny bit better every day, then this video is for you.
We all want to get better fast and it’s understandable and exciting to imagine that kind of improvement and the benefits that we will gain in a short time. Sometimes this does happen and I wish it would happen more often 🙂 In most cases, though, the progress is slow and the start is overwhelming, so what I found personally to be super helpful is to start improving a tiny bit but every day or almost every day. If you create a habit out of improvement, even if by a small amount, over a month, 3 months, 1 year and more you will gain a lot of knowledge and experience.
It also helps if you find a system that guides you to start and focus on the right steps and ignore the unnecessary time sucks that will not get you anywhere, but just taking action and getting started will get you much further even without any specific system first, than being overwhelmed, by the complexity of the skill that you want to learn or a project that you want to create.
Let’s get better and better every day and help others do it too!Â
