Thank you oksancia for this video and for all your amazingly helpful content. I’ve been wanting to dive into everything you teach, but am a stay at home mum with two little ones and just can’t find the energy of time. I’ve currently got a bad cold so v excited to have some down time to watch your content!
I always wonder how you communicate the exact colours to the printer of the finished products. I have made textile designs for my own products, of which colors I chose from my Pantone book, then found on illustrator. I used the exact code but the colors don’t always come out on the printer product as the Pantone shade. Im sure you’ve mentioned this exact topic somewhere before. If there’s a post about places like spoonflower, and including the Pantone colours with each print I would be really grateful to understand more.
Thank you so much 😊
Hi, dear Jaz! Thank you for you kind words about my videos and resources and for your question. Correct colors depend on the project and the manufacturer you will use. Also, it depends if the base of the product that will be printed is white or off white or almost cream. Really depends so please make sure that you communicate with each client or manufacturing facility on how to achieve the correct colors for each surface type. Great question!
