Eyelash Technique: a quick trick to improve any graphic design or artwork. In this video, I talk about my method of quickly assessing the composition, contrast, colors, and overall balance of any design or artwork I am working on.

This is a technique that I learned from my very first art teacher when I was about 7 years old 🙂 I still use it every day in any visual design I am working on and I hope you will find it helpful as well.

What is Eyelash Technique? I made that term up, by the way 😉
It’s simple, just squint your eyes when you are designing a repeat pattern or any design really and look THROUGH your eyelashes at your work. All of a sudden, smaller details disappear and the composition and color contrast becomes more prominent and you can see the mistakes easier.
