Can I sell raster versions of vector repeat pattern designs? My experiment.

So, can you sell your raster versions of your vector repeat pattern design?

Yes, you can sell BOTH vector and raster files online.

If you have vector repeat pattern designs and want to sell raster versions saved from your vectors, you can do so but my experiment conducted over 11 years showed that raster images sold 10x less then their vector versions on microstock websites. This is also a reason why I am a vector repeat pattern designer 😉

If you created raster designs only in Photoshop or another raster software, you can sell them on microstock websites as separate raster images or in sets, or on POD websites as physical products. You can also use them to design and sell digital products such as wedding invitations, restaurant menus, etc., and sell them as well.
