Hello everyone! My name is Oksancia and I’m a repeat pattern designer and founder of Oksancia Textile Design Studio and School. I’ve been in the industry for over 15 years and I’m also an award-winning creative course creator and teacher. Today, I want to dive into the creative trends for 2023 in repeat pattern design. I’ll be talking about colors, topics, and overall inspiration for the year.
As a repeat pattern designer, it’s important to stay up to date with the latest trends and inspiration. That’s why I’m excited to share with you what I believe will be big in 2023.
First up, the color of the year according to Pantone is Viva Magenta. This is a super cool and inspiring color that can be used in a variety of different applications. In my latest video, I go in-depth into how you can use this color in your repeat pattern designs. I show you examples, share cool color combinations, and give you my ideas on how to make the most of this color.
Another great resource for researching trends is Shutterstock.
