Live Stream: How I Create Vector Repeat Pattern in Adobe Illustrator CC Using Custom Actions.

Hi. I am Oksancia – a vector artist and surface pattern designer. In this live stream, I go through all the steps of creating a pineapple vector repeat pattern design in Adobe Illustrator CC.

What I do – the process:

– Create a reference photo of a pineapple.
– Make the drawings in a few versions of the main elements.
– Put together a repeat composition.
– Trim the composition to create a seamless pattern tile.
– Test the repeat pattern to find potential problems with composition and design.

I do all this by using custom actions I created to speed up the process. I share how to create a vector repeat pattern in Adobe Illustrator CC using custom actions.
