How to find support if you are a beginner artist or designer

HOW TO FIND SUPPORT IF YOU ARE A BEGINNER ARTIST OR DESIGNER.

I wonder if you have any other artists or designers in your family, my dear creative friend? 

Being the only creative artistic person in my immediate family and in the family of my husband I grew up without a circle of people who would understand and chat about arts and design, who would share my interests…

I am not complaining, though! I am super lucky to have a supportive family and I did go to a small art class for very young children growing up for 2 years 🙂 

Nevertheless, I wanted the support and encouragement, and guidance in the creative world that helps us all progress faster in our creative pursuits. 

I really want you to know that it’s OK to be the only artistic person in your family or a circle of friends!

Nowadays we have incredible opportunities for us to find community online and later connect in real life, too, if you know where to look and be proactive about it. 

In this video, I share my tips on how to find support if you are a beginner artist or designer. I hope you find them helpful as it is very important to find yourself a community for designers or fellow artists to help you progress with your goals. I found an online support group to be very helpful especially when the times get hard.
