Hello my amazing creative friends! It’s Oksancia here again and I am so excited to share some productivity tips with you all. As a professional textile designer and online course creator for over 15 years, I have learned that consistency is key. Even when facing limitations, like my chronic migraine headaches, consistency is the key to growing my business and remaining productive.
In this blog post, I’ll be sharing two quick tips that have helped me to stay consistent and productive.
Tip #1: Do the Low Energy Tasks on Low Energy Days
We all have those days when we just don’t feel as creative or energetic. But that doesn’t mean you can’t be productive. Instead of trying to tackle complex projects, try to focus on low energy tasks. These can be administrative tasks, like sorting images, creating variations of your designs, cleaning up your studio, or uploading designs for sale. This way, you can still be productive and grow your portfolio even on days when you’re feeling less creative.
Having no energy for difficult tasks? Just sketch elements for future designs.
If you only have a quick hour or 30 minutes, why not use that time to sketch elements for future designs? This way, you’re still making progress and preparing yourself for when you have more energy and inspiration.
I hope these tips will help you to be more productive and stay consistent in your creative work. If you want to learn more, I invite you to join my free webinar where I’ll be sharing even more tips and tricks for staying productive and growing your creative business. So don’t wait, sign up now!
